Jérémy Janody

35 years old
Jérémy, who’s training to be a high-mountain guide, is an extreme skier specialising in acrobatics. A huge enthusiast for couloirs and steep, exposed descents featuring jumps and ice, he works hard in summer and autumn so he can focus on skiing in winter and spring. Always keen for an excursion, he likes going on adventures with a group of friends.

What are your three finest skiing achievements?

- North Face of Arrêtes de Rochefort (Mt Blanc Massif).

- North Face of Paré de Joux (Massif des Aravis).

- North Face of Tournette direct (Bornes Massif).

It’s always a good experience !
And the worst ?
Avalanches, falls, big fears.
What do you like doing when you’re not skiing?
Drinking some beers with my friends after a great mountain race, climbing, trekking.
What’s your involvement with the Millet Design Centre and in product development generally?
I work in partnership with the Millet Design Centre on futur clothes and accessories thanks to my experience back and the tests I did in extrem conditions.
How do you see your discipline evolving in the next few years?
It’s always a good experience !

We still have a lot to do to look like chamois. An evolution will be possible when we will be able to be as nimble as them in the slopes and inexplored abrupt …
