MILLET icons reinvented and fully made of recycled fabrics and fillings.

For over 100 years, MILLET has been constantly innovating to come up with the best solutions for all mountain lovers. Shrouded in French history and expertise, located in Annecy, at the heart of the French Alps, it enjoys Chamonix in its backyard as a playground and ideal testing ground. MILLET is proud of its history and historic openmindedness to innovation. Proactively committed to eco-friendly practices, MILLET redesigns its best sellers in M-100 HERITAGE, a full collection using recycled fabrics and insulation.

Fleeces inspired by those who wrote mountaineering history.

Following the MILLET athletes from mountaineering golden age, Reinhold Messner, Christophe Profit, Eric Escoffier and Patrick Edlinger write a new chapter of History. Extreme mountaineering supported by new performance textiles.

In 1981, the American Malden Miles factories bring a real revolution to the outdoor world offering an insulating alternative to the wool sweaters: the famous ‘polar fleece’. This light, soft, resistant, hydrophobic and quick drying performance insulation will offer the best weight/warmth ratio during decades and meet the expectations of the most technical climbers and mountaineers.

40 years later, to celebrate the return of the iconic fleece in its HERITAGE collection, MILLET logically joins force with the brand that made fleece famous: Polartec®.

This collection celebrates the common history which allowed us to equip together the greatest mountaineering names of the ’80s.

Displaying the vintage style from our HERITAGE range and decorated with M-100 patches, these very warm fleeces are made of 100% recycled Polartec Eco® Fleecesheep. They’re designed to face the winter’s harsh weather in town and in the mountains.

The puffer jackets from the HERITAGE collection provide their warmth as well as a vintage mountain flair in town.

In 1978, mountaineer Reinhold Messner integrates the MILLET team and manages the same year the first alpine style, oxygen-free climb of the highest mountain of the world (8848 m) with his MILLET down jacket.

In 2021, to celebrate that the brand is a hundred years old, MILLET offers an updated take on its iconic puffer jacket from the ’80s by launching a range of sustainable HERITAGE down jackets.
- The filling is made of 100% recycled duck down and feathers.
- The external fabric is composed of recycled polyamide Pertex® Eco Ripstop.
- The water repellent coating is PFC-free guaranteed.

With a thick stitched padding, reinforced shoulders, snap buttons and M100 patches, our vintage looking down jackets are ideal for the urban commute.
