Millet Rise Up Tour: From Italy to Germany
In the scenery of Lake Garda
The Millet Rise Up Van had a stop in Italy, those 25th and 26th of June. More precilsely in Arco, where the incredible Rock Stadium structure is, created for the Rock Masters. It's in this wonderful scenery than people had the chance to try Siurana and Myo Oxyde climbing shoes in advance, as they will be available in sales next summer only (2017)!
We have to say that Italians know how to welcome : barbecue, pizza and beers for free! Alessandro and Sandra who manage the site organized a speed competition where most of competitors were testing the Millet climbing shoes. To win : backpacks, chalk bags, tee-shirts, caps, buffs.
Once again the Rise Up Machine challenges have been successful: all the competitors wanted to beat the record and they initiated new challenges as well. The atmosphere was really relaxed, people keep challenging each other until the night.
The day after the participants had the chance to go climbing above the deep-water on the Garda Lake.
It has been really appreciated to climb in this exceptional environment, and it was one of the best highlights of this Rise Up Tour!

A boulder hall in the heart of Berlin
No time to get some respite ! The 23th and 24th of July, the adventure continued to Germany, at the Ostbloc Boulderhalle.
It was for sure one of the most impressive boulder hall we have been to, managed by a nice and motivated team. Henrietta and her crew had prepared a special line for the event on which a speed challenge was proposed. Climbers were really enthousiast and had a great Rise Up spirit. The winner was offered a crash pad and participants showing a great involvement could win t-shirts and chalk bags. Climbers showed up with impressive moves and gave the best of themselves on both the block challenge and the Rise Up machine.
The pull-ups challenge record was tied with a high result of 51. The speed challenge was also successful with a high score of 2.62 seconds. People never stopped challenging themselves throughout the day attempting the beat the records 10 times if necessary. A barbecue and a DJ were set up for the length of the event and brought some good vibes to entertain climbers.
In one sentence: Great atmosphere, great people, great boulder hall !
One thing is sure: We already can't wait to be next year, for the second edition of the Millet Rise Up Tour!
