18th Millet Tour Du Rutor Extreme: be ready!

This huge and unique international ski mountaineering sporting event will come back from april the first till the third, with world's best athletes on its extreme route:

Millet Tour du Rutor Extreme, the international SkiAlp competition sponsored by Millet and Polartec, is scheduled to take place in Aosta Valley for its 18th edition from 1st till - 3rd April : three intense days for over 300 teams, incorporating more than 600 athletes and 7000 D+ for a really “extreme” contest.

The technical and highly demanding routes have been designed by the Himalayan alpinist and Millet's technical advisor Marco Camandona, in partnership with the athletes of the prestigious Corrado Gex Ski Club.

La 18ème édition du Millet Tour Du Rutor Extrême!

As third appointment of the international SkiAlp tournament known as “ La Grande Course”, the Millet Tour du Rutor Extreme - powered by Polartec will attract competitors from over 18 countries.

 

The “Mountain Village Tour” is also confirmed and will be held in the beautiful setting of Arvier with its lake and castle. After the race people can relax and take the opportunity to visit the Millet/Polartec booth, with its view of the top of SkiAlp with garments in Polartec Alpha, such as the Touring Alpha Hoodie, a season highlight and official jacket of Tour Staff – or the Pierra Ment Alpha pant and the protective Freerando Neo jacket, in Polartec NeoShell.

THURSDAY, MARCH 31th 2016

11:00 – 17:30 at Arvier schools

- confirmation of registration, bib and timekeeper chip pick-up

- delivery of hotel vouchers

- delivery of participation certificate

18:00 briefing in the multipurpose hall in Arvier schools

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 01th 2016

1 1\2 hours before competition start, inspection of bibs and avalanche transceivers

8:00 scheduled competition start time

10:30 first team expected to arrive

17:30 briefing in the multipurpose hall in Arvier schools

 

SATURDAY, APRIL 02th 2016

1 1\2 hours before competition start, inspection of bibs and avalanche transceivers

8:00 scheduled competition start time

10:30 first team expected to arrive

17:30 briefing in the multipurpose hall in Arvier schools

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 03th 2016

1 1\2 hours before competition start, inspection of bibs and avalanche transceivers;

8:00 scheduled competition start time;

10:30 first team expected to arrive;

12:30 closing dinner at a facility set up near the Arvier schools;

14:30 awards ceremony in the multipurpose hall in the Arvier schools.
