"Ciascuno è fabbro della propria fortuna*"
Every man is the architect of his own fortune
I am simple guy. I enjoy the simple things of life, like family and friends. I was born in a village lying at an altitude of 1500 meters, so I enjoy nature and the mountain in all of its forms.
Few words that define you as an athlete:
I am committed and a perfectionist. I will pay attention to the tiniest detail to always keep improving.

Few words that define you as a person :
I love good food. Also, I am always moving, I need to keep on the move, can’t be standing still.

What are your passions besides ski mountaineering?
I like music. I play accordion and I love to sing. I am passionate about agriculture, just like my twin brother Fabien.

Your best and worst memory in the mountains:
Luckily, I have no bad memories from the mountains. It’s not easy to pick one good memories, there are so many... I would say I simply remember the colour of the sky, in the early morning. It’s just wonderful!

Why do you feel part of the Millet family?
For me, Millet embodies the sense of freedom I look for every time I am in the mountains.

What does it mean for you, "Rise Up"?
The spirit of Rise Up is a constant desire to evolve and improve, despite the challenges.

Why do you advise people to go out in the mountains to do outdoor activities?
I wish everyone could experience the unique feelings I can have in the mountains. Moreover, exercise and breathe in the fresh pure air is good for the physical and mental health!
Main achievements and future projects:
My greatest accomplishment has certainly been my title at the ski mountaineering World Cup on the vertical specialty for my last year in the junior category. Regarding future plans, I’d rather not have any specific goal… Now that I compete on the senior level, I need to learn the tricks of the trade. Then I should be able to continually improve and get closer to the top-ranked athletes.
